Been busy the past couple of weeks. My mom came over coupled with a really busy time at work, so that's a combination that resulted in my lack of updates.
Had another round of occupational therapy yesterday and we were given a three-month assignment by the therapist and she had outlined the 3 goals that we should strive to meet:
- increase Javier's level of play skills so that it is more constructive
- develop pre-writing skills (to this day, Javier still hates writing!) through a series of activities that strengthen tripod grasp
- increase social interaction and imagination in play
In a way, I am glad that she has the confidence that we can run our home programme for Javier and I am kind of excited of the tools that me and my hubby with design for him.
